Donna Rodriguez, CPA JD
Donna Rodriguez, CPA JD, is the owner and escrow officer of Texas Homeland Title Company, a leading provider of title insurance and real estate services in Texas. She has a diverse and impressive professional background, spanning accounting, law, and finance.
Donna started her career as a CPA, working for one of the “big eight” accounting firms after graduating with honors from the University of Texas accounting program. She then pursued her passion for law, earning her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Oklahoma Law School. She served as a Special U.S. Attorney in Guam, where she investigated and prosecuted tax fraud and other white-collar crimes for five years.
Donna returned to the U.S. and became the Chief Financial Officer for an international conglomerate, until it closed in 2002. She then established her own professional practice, Donna L. Rodriguez, PLLC, offering accounting and legal services to corporations, businesses, nonprofits, and individuals. Many of her clients were successful real estate brokers and agents, which sparked her interest in real estate and title insurance.
In 2015, Donna joined Texas Homeland Title Company as a co-owner and escrow officer. She leverages her expertise in accounting, law, and finance to provide exceptional service and guidance to her clients. She can help them with their tax matters, as well as handle their real estate transactions with efficiency and convenience. She is always eager to learn and grow, both personally and professionally.
BRITTNYE STROUP
Brittnye is our title examiner who has been working in the industry for 13 years. She started her career as a transaction coordinator, where she gained valuable experience and knowledge in handling various types of escrow transactions. She can perform title examinations and reports with accuracy and speed, ensuring that our clients receive clear and marketable titles. She can also assist with amendments for contract issues, resolving any problems or disputes that may arise.
As part of her role, Brittnye is responsible for conducting thorough research and verification of property titles. She checks public records for any defects, liens, or legal barriers that may affect the ownership or transfer of the property. She reviews various documents related to the property, such as deeds, mortgages, and trust documents, and verifies their validity and completeness. She summarizes and reports her findings clearly and accurately, and prepares title commitments.

Jane is our receptionist who welcomes our clients with a warm and friendly smile and a professional demeanor. She is the first point of contact for our phone calls, and she handles them with courtesy and care. She listens attentively to our clients’ needs and concerns, and directs them to the appropriate staff member.
Jane has a wealth of experience as a secretary and an interpreter for defense attorneys, which gives her an edge in communication, organization, and problem-solving. She has worked with various clients and cases, and has developed a keen sense of understanding and empathy. She is proficient in both English and Spanish, and can translate documents and conversations with ease and accuracy. With her being our translator for our Spanish speaking customers. She helps us bridge the language and cultural gap, and ensures that all of our customers receive the best service possible.
